Twenty years ago I found myself gaining weight rapidly, weeks vs. months, fatigue that was debilitating, and unknown allergic reactions running rampant in my body. I started with an allergy doctor. He took so many vials of blood the phlebotomist asked if I really wanted someone to know so much about me. My answer was 'yes'. I had to start somewhere. The results were hypothyroidism and a huge amount of inflammation in my body. Three endocrinologists later, (one telling me I needed to learn to live with my symptoms) and on a basketful of medications, I realized I couldn't live like this any longer. That's when I jumped into the world of health and fitness.
I provide a compassionate space for people navigating the complexities of chronic illness, the frustrations of a changing metabolism or regaining feelings of a healthy lifestyle.
Whether you want to age with vitality and stay active while living with chronic illness, or simply recharge your metabolism. Together, we focus on realistic steps that help you feel better in your body and in your daily life.
I'm an NB-HWC certified health and wellness coach, personal trainer, nutrition therapist, and yoga instructor with 20 years of experience. I bring all these tools together to support your path to wellness.
